Today is International Childhood Cancer Day!

🎗February 15 is International Childhood Cancer Day. This day stands for the challenges in combating childhood cancer and is a reminder to raise awareness for this devastating disesae.

👉 For 35 years – since the institute’s foundation in 1988 – the team of St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute (CCRI) has been working tirelessly to improve the chances for children with cancer. During the last decades, cure rates have greatly improved. But we still lose children to this insidious disease and as long as one child dies, there is a lot of work to be done. 💪
