Florian Halbritter captivated the audience with his insightful talk on their study titled “Neuroblastoma-associated chromosomal aberrations drive cell identity loss in human neural crest via disruption of developmental regulators.” This research focuses on utilizing stem cell models to understand the early stages of neuroblastoma pathogenesis.

The event was enriched by the active participation of a diverse group of our institute’s researchers, such as Magdalena Rados, Irfete Fetahu, and Marie Bernkopf from Sabine Taschner-Mandl’s lab, Juraj Konc and Sören Strohmenger from Kaan Boztug’s group, and Luis Montano from Florian Halbritter’s group. Heidrun Boztug joined the Meeting on behalf of the St. Anna Children’s Hospital. Irfete and Magdalena were amongst those who delivered engaging talks on their upcoming publication. The meeting also featured Ulrike Pötschger, who shared valuable insights on statistical methods in clinical trials through a flash talk.
