This was the Long Night of Research 2026

When research becomes tangible: At the Long Night of Research 2026, visitors joined us at our institute for an evening of meaningful exchange and inspiring insights into the future of childhood cancer research.

Around 850 visitors embarked on a journey from precise diagnostics and a deeper understanding of childhood cancers to the development of innovative therapies. Through hands-on exploration, direct conversations with our researchers, and engaging talks, we highlighted the passion, expertise, and interdisciplinary collaboration behind every scientific discovery.

The strong enthusiasm and open dialogue made the evening truly special for everyone involved. We would like to sincerely thank all visitors, colleagues, and contributors who helped make the Long Night of Research 2026 such a meaningful experience.
