Panel Discussion: “Reaching for the Stars – We & Science”

in cooperation with the Wiener Zeitung.

Making the impossible possible – and thus reaching for the stars. This is the claim that St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute has successfully realized in its 35 years of existence. With the clear mission of enabling children with cancer to have a healthy future, unimaginable research results have become reality.

On its 35th anniversary, St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute invites you to enter an exciting discourse. Different personalities from the fields of art and culture, science and business together with childhood cancer researchers will discuss the possibilities to make research more tangible and attract the general public to get in touch with science.

Our new discussion series “Reaching for the Stars – We & Science” will explore the questions, such as:

  • How can science communicate the knowledge it has achieved to a broader public?
  • In what way should we counter the general skepticism about science?
