St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute focuses on equality

(Vienna, 2.6.2021) Together with the consulting team from “100 percent – equality pays off”, St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute has created a Gender Equality Plan.

Diversity and inclusion have been anchored in the corporate culture of St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute for a long time. “However, we deemed a structured approach to the topic of gender equality essential, which is why we underwent a professional consulting process. Throughout this process, we drew up a Gender Equality Plan, together with the funded consulting project 100 percent – equality pays off,” explains Jörg Bürger, CFO & Managing Director.

“It was particularly important for us to embed the topic in existing structures in order to continuously improve in terms of equality,” highlights Jörg Bürger. The basis for the Gender Equality Plan was the analysis of the 100 percent consultant Joy Marogna, who assessed the status quo in terms of equality at the institute. In the course of several workshops, the staff participated with great commitment in defining the measures for the Gender Equality Plan.

The successful collaboration was captured in a short video: https://youtu.be/sV2FJHHyNt0

During the video production, the team of Dreh & Schnitt and “100 percent – equality pays off” got the chance to take a look behind the scenes of St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute and to talk to those involved.

The counseling service is funded by the European Social Fund in Austria and the Federal Ministry of Labor.
